Robert is a dynamic leader dedicated to empowering individuals and uplifting communities. Originally born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, Robert currently resides in Western New York. With over 20 years of experience in leadership, mentorship, training, and coaching, Robert has significantly impacted countless lives.
His mission is to help people develop the confidence to create the life and career they desire and deserve. Robert is a father and a proud grandfather to his grandson, Dialo Jr.
Robert’s community involvement is extensive. As Trustee Chairman of True Bethel Baptist Church, he oversees the fiduciary and governance functions, supporting outreach and ministry programs. Under his leadership, the church has expanded affordable housing for both seniors and adults in Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
Robert is the incoming Board President of Buffalo United Charter School, where he has been instrumental in developing summer programs, wrap-around services, and strategic planning. He is a founding member of the Resource Council of WNY, which provides vital programs and services to empower youth, adults, and families. As Vice-Chair and Chair-Elect of the Communities of Giving Legacy Initiative (CGLI), Robert fosters positive change in the lives of trailblazing youth of color in Western New York. Additionally, he serves as Vice-President of the Cheektowaga Economic Development Corporation, facilitating economic growth and job creation within Cheektowaga. He also serves on the SUNY Buffalo State University Community Advisory Committee and supports the Variety Club of Buffalo Ice Hockey Program, which teaches youth from underserved communities how to skate and play hockey. Robert is also an Ex-Officio Board Member for the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens, focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) initiatives. Robert continues to give back to his hometown of Niagara Falls with a partnership with Mt. Zion Baptist Church, annually donating book bags and school supplies.
Recognized by Business First as one of the ‘40 under 40’ and a recipient of the Buffalo Black Achievers Award, Robert was also honored by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as the national organization’s Professional of the Year. His hands-on experience mentoring diverse groups in Western New York enables him to help clients reach their full potential.
In 2021, Robert launched the Empower716 Podcast, a platform supporting entrepreneurs and
business owners of color in Western New York. The podcast shares entrepreneurial journeys, best practices, and actionable insights, and has given rise to the Young Entrepreneurs of Color Awards, celebrating and supporting young entrepreneurs annually.
Robert holds a real estate license with Keller Williams of WNY, conducting business on a limited basis. He is a member of the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Buffalo Class of 2017. He is also the author of three books, with the latest titled "Introvert Leaders: Stop Hiding—The World Needs You."
